Beachballs and SwimSuits
An Interactive Concert for toddlers and kids of all ages
Can live music transform into playful interactions between performers and the audience?
Inspired by the surreal way children think, the group of "Beachballs and Swimsuits" designs and brings to life musical experiences filled with lyrics, rhythms, and sounds that turn into interactive games—shaping a truly unique concert adventure. This concert is specially created so that music and songs become the foundation for listening, experiencing, and connecting—both for children and adults. Rhythm, tone, intensity, and duration blend to shape a dynamic musical journey that’s always different, always unique. Every member of the audience, guided by their own imagination and perspective, is free to enjoy, participate, and become part of the evolving sounds, words, and melodies.
The performance is for children of all ages—and for adults too! After all, who wouldn’t want to meet Pantelis the Cicada—a taxi driver and singer—or Katerinaki the little ant, a famous weather presenter who eventually becomes a hairdresser up in the sky, styling the feathers of birds? And of course, you’ll encounter the constant, mischievous “interruptions” of some very famous beetles!
But the concert isn’t just about fun—it’s also designed with educators in mind. It offers rich material showing how music, sounds, and songs can be powerful tools for approaching different subjects while cultivating listening, creativity, and perception in students.
